Realignment as Körber Process Solutions
The former paper division of Körber AG, Körber PaperLink, will undergo a strategic realignment and is being presented in a new and fresh design. The division’s new name, Körber Process Solutions, has been chosen to underscore the fact that the divisional companies are targeting different industries.
For example, Langhammer’s palletizing and transport solutions (business area Intralogistics) are used in various sectors, such as the food, cosmetics and tissue industries. The names “Paper Division” and “Körber PaperLink” are therefore no longer entirely accurate. The realignment is also connected to the sale of the Paper Systems companies E.C.H. Will, Pemco and Kugler-Womako, which remains subject to the approval of antitrust authorities. With its other business areas – Tissue, Mail Solutions and Hygiene Solutions – the division continues to supply the paper and tissue industries. The division also plans to continue growth by acquiring companies in the process industries, in addition to expanding product portfolios in existing branches.
